Sherman Taylor and Mikey Peña - the lead songwriters of the band - were actually one of the first to introduce the Austin pop-punk scene to the guys of PartyHat.  Since then, a lot of rad connections have been made, excellent shows have been attended, and major projects with many of their fellow groups have been pushed into development (including a tentative full-length documentary).
